Ingenie Designs was started as an outlet for my passion in all things design and Web focused. Initially helping clients by tweaking existing wordpress installations, I created my own extensible WordPress Theme “Ingenie Theme” that would be based around security, efficiency and featureset.
The Ingenie Theme has been used in all WordPress projects since its development, and is continually developed for new features and client requests It is important to me that Ingenie Designs does not stall in terms of technological offerings or advancement and I therefore strive to communicate the real world benefits of newer systems and features to all of my clients. This is always done with confidence, and an understanding of real world applications and examples.
I have worked with various CMS and CRM. One of the biggest projects being for a wholesale Bakers. This project was an Ecommerce solution that used Hansa CRM as it’s backend. The aforementioned could very well have been the first of its kind, as no working examples were available at the time.
As an IT Technician for a local school, I have been responsible for shaping the direction of the School’s IT Policy, and the forward thinking use of new technologies. This has involved working with limited budgets, finding ways to prolong the life of aging equipment, and working with colleagues to find IT solutions to more complex problems, such as for Children with disabilities. The role involves knowledge of security, IT best practise, and even GDPR knowledge. The role also involved me liaising with many different software, hardware and education companies. Through this I have close ties with Cloud Ready Neverware. When I’m not indulging in everything Tech. I’m a keen walker, coffee connoisseur and occasional gamer. I have a real love of Rock music, live music. and museums.
